These pages contain descriptions and instructions about the LIC. The LIC is the computery bit of an e-commerce infrastructure. It is bunch of computers that can run lots of complex services with high traffic levels.

The details are contained in the pages that follow. Don't worry about any jargon at this stage: all will be revealed.

First we follow the path that leads from the Internet to the LIC. After we reach the LIC, we follow the path into its bowels: the Internet services, the resources they provide, the hosts they run on and the network that connects them all together.
